Who We Are

At Clinical Trials Connection, we are a proud Black-owned hybrid-model clinical trial site that understands the importance of representation in medical research. We are dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for underserved communities, particularly within the Black community, by conducting clinical trials that reflect the true diversity of the population.

Tiffany, the visionary founder of Clinical Trials Connection, is dedicated to transforming healthcare outcomes through inclusive clinical trial participation. With two decades of experience in healthcare and clinical research, she has made a significant impact by holding leadership positions at esteemed institutions. Throughout her career, Tiffany has skillfully managed research operations and complex projects across multiple therapeutic areas, demonstrating her remarkable ability to navigate the intricacies of clinical trials on both domestic and international stages.

Tiffany’s diverse background has endowed her with a profound insight into the challenges and opportunities within the research landscape. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Maryville University, laying a solid foundation in business principles. Following this, she pursued a Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University, further refining her ability to harness technology to enhance research outcomes. Currently, Tiffany is embarking on a Doctorate in Information Technology, aiming to deepen her knowledge and propel advancements in the field. Her leadership style radiates a steadfast commitment to excellence, equity, and inclusivity, ensuring that every voice is valued in the research process.

Tiffany co-founded The Network Group, a transformative nonprofit dedicated to empowering kids through STEAM education. She passionately champions educational and health resources for underserved youth in her community. Under her visionary leadership, the Clinical Trials Connection team strives to revolutionize healthcare through innovative research. Tiffany is also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., embodying the spirit of service and excellence.

Tyrone Dumas, a visionary co-founder of Clinical Trials Connections, is a celebrated entrepreneur and mentor with over 30 years of invaluable experience in the Social Service sector in St. Louis. His commitment to the community has earned him deep respect.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management with a Specialization in Public Administration, Mr. Dumas exemplifies dedication and leadership. As the CEO and Founder of D.U.M.A.S. Bilingual Child Development Center, Dumas Mentoring and Youth Services, Betty Dumas Enrichment Palace, Dumas Enterprise, Second 2 None Basketball Organization, and a successful real estate investor, he continues to inspire others.

Additionally, his published work, *No GOD No Journey*, reflects his passion for empowerment and growth.

Dr. Janiece Stewart, also known as “Dr. J,” is a highly accomplished physician with a specialization in Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics, serving the St. Louis and Metro East area for over 18 years. She is widely respected in the community and has received numerous accolades for her commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Dr. Stewart has conducted clinical trials across various therapeutic areas. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and completed her medical training at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Stewart pursued a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric residency at Rush University and completed a competitive fellowship in Sports Medicine at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, California. In addition to her medical qualifications, she has received extensive training in bioidentical hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and functional aesthetics.

Dr. Stewart has held significant roles in her career, serving as the medical director of a physical therapy concussion program and Botox practice. She has also been the head team physician for Saint Louis University and Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, as well as several local high schools and junior colleges. Furthermore, Dr. Stewart has been the team physician for various sports franchises, including Minor League Baseball, Major League Soccer, ABA Basketball, and Olympic teams. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Stewart oversees the design and execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and ethical practices. She is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Sorority, Inc.

Ebonie is exceptionally experienced, having been the seventh person in the country to participate in a clinical research study (haploidentical transplant) for sickle cell disease.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri Baptist University. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Nursing Education. With experience in various therapeutic areas, Ebonie confidently oversees clinical staff and efficiently coordinates participants’ care and study coordination with unwavering compassion and precision.

Antonia brings invaluable experience in healthcare administration and business management, complemented by a robust accounting background. As she pursues her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she plays a pivotal role in the strategic administration and economic management of our clinical research site, embodying leadership and dedication in every endeavor.

Behnaz Sarrami, PharmD, MS, is a leading expert in pharmacogenomics and a dedicated Medical Science Liaison (MSL). She is named American Pharmacists Association’s (APhA) “50 Most Influential Leaders in Pharmacy” and Medika’s “Top 30 Women Transforming Healthcare”. Behnaz is passionate about advancing personalized medicine to optimize treatments and improve patient outcomes, especially in underserved populations. She supports healthcare professionals through scientific training and presentations.

As the host of the “Precision Health and PGx” podcast, she mentors pharmacists transitioning into MSL roles and those launching pharmacogenomics consulting careers.
She earned her Master’s in Biochemistry from Georgetown University and her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Creighton University. With significant contributions to research and education, she continues to drive innovation in Precision Medicine through her work with healthcare professionals and community outreach programs.
